What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future. We do not want to change or run away from what we are experiencing, we accept it with openness and curiosity.
There is research evidence that this approach facilitates positive outcomes on different aspects of life as well as reduction of stress, anxiousness and depression. It is said to improve overall quality of life.
Program Full Stress Control
Full Stress Control is a program, that aims to improve overall quality of a life of an individual. The basis of the program is learning the skill of mindfulness. It includes the knowledge from temporary positive psychology, cognitive therapy, transactional analysis and integrative psychotherapy.
Who can apply?
Everybody that wish to reduce stress and improve the overall quality of life. It is specifically useful for the following:
› stress at the workplace, in the family and everyday life,
› physical problems (high blood pressure, asthma, migraines, skin problems…),
› sleep disorders,
› feelings of anxiousness, panic and different fears,
› feelings of depression and low self-worth
> increased ability of relaxation and feeling at peace,
> more energy, enthusiasm and improved life values,
> higher self-esteem and acceptance of life as it is,
> increased ability of control in shorthand or longhand stress situations.

The performance of the program
The two-month program includes one individual and 9 group meetings. They take place once per week for two hours and once for the whole day. The meetings include a theoretical part as well as experiential exercises. Trainees have to complete homework in-between meetings. Trainees obtain study material for homework and three CD-s with instructions for home practice.
The price for ten meetings (25 school hours) and one whole-day meeting (8 school hours) is 344,26 € + 22% VAT. There is a lower price of 172,13 EUR + 22 % VAT for regular students, unemployed and participants of the Advanced training for mindfulness lecturers.
Where and when?
The training will take place in Ljubljana at the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling, Stegne 7 (4th floor). The meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 18.15 PM to 20.15 PM.
The training will start on the 3rd of October and end on the 28th of November 2017.

Please note that the number of participants is limited, thus the order of applications will be taken into account. All the participants will be invited to the first individual meeting.
